After a puppy named Rump was injured in the spine, he lost user of his hind legs and control of his bodily functions. His owners could not afford his care and dropped him off at the Ashville Humane Society, where there was a high likelihood of euthanasia, given his serious condition.
However, with some acupuncture and medicine, he was able to regain some function, and with it, a renewed sense of life. Now he is on the list for future adoption and still undergoing treatment so that he may fully recover.
